What a wonderful place, the cabin is perfectly situated and the woods and the lake make an absolutely perfect setting.
A few running laps of the lake in the morning, followed by a swim and then climbing in the Red River Gorge. Perfect.

Our recent cabin stay had many positives but a few drawbacks. The location was perfect, with peaceful lake access and a private dock. The cabin itself was spacious, ideal for a relaxing getaway, and we loved the hot tub. The host was responsive, offering helpful local recommendations when we arrived.

However, some areas need improvement. The cleanliness upon arrival wasn't up to par, and the exterior doors were difficult to open and close. Essentials like toilet paper and bed linens were of lower quality, and the mattresses were old and uncomfortable. We had to drive to get canoe paddles, only to find the canoe had a hole and a paddle was cracked. The grill was dirty, firewood wasn’t provided, and the dryer didn't work well. While the TV was available, it was small with limited channels. The hot tub, being near the woods, often gathered leaves.

Overall, the cabin is charming, and with a few improvements, it could provide an even better experience for future guests.

Location is really nice. The area in general is beautiful, but this house was just OK. Was clean, but maintenance was lacking. All properties surrounding this pond appeard to be rentals as well. There was plenty of space between them, but sound carries. No self check in. Must go to office to pick up a single key.

Great secluded place, was as advertised. Minor things like appliances were dated and somewhat broken, but everything worked just fine. I'd definitely go back again.

We really enjoyed our short stay at the cabin with family. The area is so quiet and peaceful. The lake is lovely and fun to swim in. I just wish the price was less so we could have stayed a whole week!

The place was wonderful and our students had so much fun on their 8th grade capstone trip. The lake kept them occupied and the location was close to most everything we did. The only complaint is that the appliances were a bit finicky. Other than that, everything went smooth.

We had a very nice stay at this cabin. It fit our group perfectly. Everything was clean. Loved having the pool table on the bottom level so it wasn't a distraction to those on the main level who were chatting or watching TV. It was nice being right on the lake. The kids did some fishing and had a great time. Overall, we would stay here again.

Wonderful, wonderful location. Peaceful, beautiful, the lake for an early morning swim was fantastic and then the climbing opportunities or your door step are world class.

Spent four days with my children and grandchildren, a total of 12 of us.
Lake is a little tricky to get to...steep.
The only two issues we had while there were lack of a working can opener and dryer took two cycles to thoroughly dry the clothes.
Beautiful property and very secluded!

We loved the private dock, hot tub, and security of the house. Only downfall were the pool table is in a small space making shots difficult to make, maybe add some mini pool sticks for those times, two of the queen beds were new very comfortable, but the remaining two were terrible. The response time/attitude when the wifi was out and the dryer stopped working were the best of any rental we have EVER stayed out, seriously fantastic!! Would highly recommend this house to a friend for a lake week set near Red Rivers best hikes! We loved our week here!

We had a great time at the cabin. It was a beautiful area surrounded by forest and a lake to enjoy. Mostly, it was a great time to relax and leave the city. The wifi and satellite could use more instructions or updates on passwords in the book, but we were able to call the check-in area and receive help. There are many great restaurants close to it as well, such as Miguels.

The cabin was spotless and well stocked. It had many dishes to be used for cooking. The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The bathrooms were well cleaned and instructions for how to clean up were informative.

3 bedrooms and a bath on the top floor. 1 bedroom and a bath main floor. A Murphy bed and pool table in the basement. Natural gas grill is extremely convenient. Lake views and access to the lake, including a canoe and a kayak, really make this cabin. Highly recommend and would do it again. Try Redpoint BBQ a short distance away.

Place was good for a family outing. Disappointed that the wifi was different than instructions and tv never did work.

Awesome location. The lake makes it totally worth it. Just an FYI for future guests, the fifth bedroom is really a pull out in the basement. Bring extra towels! Overall great stay!

This was a wonderful stay! Beautiful views and very peaceful area. The hot tub was our favorite part. Perfect for much needed relaxation! Nancy is awesome too. Very responsive and helpful.

Perfect place for our late Christmas family getaway. Murphy bed in the basement was perfect for the two older kids to have their own area. 7 adults, 4 kids and we had plenty of space. Everything worked as expected and the host was quick to respond when I had questions before arrival. Easy to find, roads surrounding cabin weren’t too rough/too steep.

Beautiful location but the home is smaller than it looks in the photos (1 room has 4 of the 8 beds together). The beds are all hard as a rock so recommend bringing padding. Coffee maker available but it’s BYOG (bring your own grounds). Worked for our needs. Home address will not show up on GPS so must use coordinates provided by office.

Really enjoyed being right on the lake! It was a great time of fishing and canoeing!

This place was awesome for myself & 12 other family members! We never got really overcrowded and had more than enough space. It is very peaceful, check in and out was a breeze. I'd recommend bringing floaties or noodles for the pond!

This house was great! It’s a really neat set-up, I’ve never seen anything quite like it. There’s multiple houses (with plenty distance between one another) around one private lake. Especially with warmer weather, I would very much recommend staying here. The lake is the perfect size for a group of friends to enjoy together and even if the weather doesn’t hold up, there’s plenty of room inside for hanging out. We had about 10 guests and we had a lot of fun. Great stay all together.

Who knew there’s a ring of cabins surrounding a secluded lake not 10 minutes from everything the red has to offer. Awesome experience and more than we asked for

Beautiful property, nice hot tub, pool table was balanced, all of the utilities work great, and the location is superb! Decently private, a 10 minute drive to Natural Bridge, Miguel's Pizza, a general store, etc. Highly recommend coming here!

Perfect location and beautiful view for an adult getaway! Just close enough to fun things do to yet a private location. We will be going back.

Make sure you have toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. You are 10 miles from a store.

Great accommodations. I loved the dining room setup. Best cabin pool table I’ve ever used. Fire pit is excellently set up, with a great view. The hot tub was well maintained. Small TV, but is that really why you’re in the woods?

Had a great time with my family! Cabin is nice and hot tub was relaxing! This area on the water was beautiful …and even got engaged on the dock!!!

The view was nice. The firepit sat on a raised concrete area that only had seating on one side. The other sides were too narrow to put a chair and if you did you risk falling off the edge which was a decent drop off. It was a convenient location to visit the attractions in the area.

Location, location, location! This house had an amazing lake view. My kids were able to make a quick jump in. It fantastically located near everything we wanted to do. Hikes and restaurants were in abundance close by.
Will def be returning in the summer to utilize the lake more.

What a wonderfully private and relaxing retreat ! Would definitely stay again.

It was very nice being so close to the water, my kids liked feeding the fish and the view was nice, the porch was relaxing. Unfortunately the air conditioning broke the day we were coming and it was very hot and there was a boil water advisory, but we negotiated a discount for that since it was beyond their control. We were told to bring our own towels, extra paper towels, and toilet paper because only a set amount was provided. There were a lot of kitchen utensils provided, however it would have been nice to have a full set of coffee mugs since we didn’t have enough for 8 adults. There was a dishwasher but no soap was provided.

Overall a great stay for our family vacation! The lake was great for swimming and fishing. Close to many activities and hiking spots in the red river gorge. Only downsides I would say is there were not enough cups for people the listing says can stay, so bring extras! And some areas could have been cleaner but it wasn’t anything crazy (gave 3/5 for cleaning so average!) great place for the price in the area! Would recommend for sure

This house offers a lovely view of the lake and a spacious porch that is great for enjoying the view!

The house itself was perfect for us. Steps down to the dock would have been beneficial for safety as it was slippery going down the hill after all the rain.

We loved our weekend at Lake View! It was the perfect size for multiple couples and we loved the view of the lake! It was nice to have the ability to do activities around the cabin in addition to RRG and hiking. Easy driving access to major trail heads. Bonus points for good wifi! We will definitely be coming back!

Upon arrival—-air would not work. Maintenance guy came out 3 times Friday night and another air guy came out and stayed till after 10 pm that night too. It couldn’t be fixed. Then an professional air guy same Saturday morning and finally was able to fix it after several hours. We was planning on hiking so some of us in our group had to stay back for that. The satellite would not work. We tried everything. Kept saying no signal. My daughter brought movies and couldn’t get the DVD player to
Work either. Overall, we had an okay time. For the money we spent for a weekend getaway was not worth it considering all the issues we had.

Great cabin right along a beautiful lake. Having a pool table and a hot tub was an awesome way to relax after hiking all day. The hot tub is huge! Just a couple minute drive from everything you need (Food/drinks/hiking trails)

Big enough space for a family or a decent sized group of friends. Overall my family had a great time staying here. Thanks again!
